Walter B. Cooper Memorial Scholarship – DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 9/27/17 AT 5:00 P.M.


Walter B. Cooper was an advisor for the Alpha Gamma Pi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. The memories of Mr. Cooper’s efforts within and outside of Phi Theta Kappa are still visible today every time his name is mentioned. Mr. Cooper advised students how to become well-rounded individuals in each of the society’s hallmarks. It is with this concept in mind that the Texas Region Alumni Association presents this scholarship in memory of Walter B. Cooper. 

Requirements: Individuals applying for this scholarship must be an active member of Phi Theta Kappa at a community college that will be transferring to a University the following year and you must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.

All applications must be submitted online. Please make sure all documentation is submitted at the same time. If the application is not complete upon arrival, it will not be judged. All applications are due (must be received) at 5:00 p.m. on September 27, 2017.
